The whole house, gate to gate: all three bedrooms, two shared bathrooms, the wet kitchen and pantry, the dining room, the living room and the walled garden.

The rate covers up to 12 guests, which is what the house comfortably takes with the extra mattresses out. Beyond that it is Rs. 500 per extra guest per night. This is the option most families and touring groups take, and the perfect way to experience the villa’s full charm together.

Two double beds in one tall, bright room under the original timber ceiling. Four people sleep properly, offering genuine comfort and plenty of room to stretch out.

It is the largest of the three bedrooms and the one families take first. Shared bathrooms are a few steps down the corridor.

Before you book

Check-in from 2:00 pm

Check-out by 11:00 am. Arriving on a night train or a late bus? Tell us and we will wait up.

Self-catering

The kitchen is yours. There is a market and several shops within a few minutes of the gate.

Quiet hours after 10 pm

This is a residential lane and a family house. We ask guests to keep the garden calm late at night.

Payment on arrival

Cash or bank transfer. No deposit is taken to hold a date — a WhatsApp confirmation is enough.

Terra Lux is set up for self-catering groups — pilgrims, extended families and touring parties who would rather have a whole house than a row of hotel doors.

Three bedrooms

The Family Room, the Twin Room and the Garden Room — together they take up to twelve guests.

Wet kitchen & pantry

Gas hob, rice cooker, kettle, fridge and a full set of pots, pans and crockery. Cook exactly what you want.

Dining for twelve

A dedicated dining room with a long table, so the whole party eats together rather than in shifts.

Walled garden

A private lawn and courtyard behind the gate — safe for children, quiet in the evening.

Two shared bathrooms

Clean tiling, and an open-air shower court off the side of the house.

One kilometre from the ruins

Close enough to walk to the Sacred City at dawn and be back for breakfast.

Off-street parking

Room for cars and a van inside the gate. Tuk-tuks and drivers arranged on request.

Fans & backup power

Ceiling and pedestal fans in every room, and lighting that rides out the usual cuts.
